Carpenter Classic #66 ~ 6'6" ~ 2/1 ~ 2/7 oz. ~ 3/4wt. ~ EXC ~ This wonderful little wand comes from Mr. Carpetner's Special series of fine bamboo fly rods and features light brown shafts with swelled butt, 3 around nodes, translucent tan silks tipped black, all protected by an impeccable varnish finish. Edwards Quad #400 Spinning Rod ~ 7' ~ 2/1 ~ 4 5/8 oz. EXC (exception noted) For those who like to throw Mepps and Panther Martins, this high quality quad from Mt. Carmel, CT is a must have in your arsenal. It features carmel-colored cane, bronze-brown silks double tipped in gold bronze guides and smooth & tight fitting blued N/S ferrules that give a strong 'pop' when separated. Black Pyralin winding check and HK loop are followed by alternating color silk signature wraps. Edwards "Quadrate" #400 is inked in white script. The rod is in excellent condition save for a few bag marks in the varnish that could easily be rubbed out. Comes with the original 2-compartment bag and labeled Mt. Carmel, CT tube. This rod has a wonderful medium action and could very easily be converted for use with a fly. Quad spinning rods of this quality and vintage don't show up too often. $495 Reduced to $395
